“Mediterranean Sea’s myths”
“地中海的神话”
I come from a region which is rich of traditions. The areas where Paestum and Pompei are located want to represent a combination between greek and latin mytology. The fantasy, the imagination, the irony, the cheerfulness of these civilizations goes on living together in the past and in the present. I want to give to my production a dazzling glow complexion because Campania, my region, means sun, beach, sea and also warmth and tradition. All variety of fishes are represented in an illustrative panel. It’s a grotesque, underwater world composed of a lot of different and strange kind of fish, like newt, “pesce mangione” the one I prefers the most, some sea monsters, “gallinella di mare (sea chick)”, “razza”, “pesce coltello (knife fish)”, “pesce cavatappi (corkscrew fish)”, “passera di mare (plaice)” and other fish belonging to the marine fauna.
我的家乡传统文化气氛浓厚。Paestum和Pompei坐落的地方试图成为融合希腊和拉丁神话的代表。各种文明中的幻想，想象，讽刺以及快乐并存于过去和现在。我想让我的作品展现一种令人昏眩的微红皮肤色，因为我的家乡坎帕尼亚区寓意着太阳，沙滩，大海，温暖还有传统文化。于是我用一个嵌板表现出了各种个样的鱼。这是一个奇异的水底世界，有很多奇怪的不同种类的鱼，比如说蝾螈，我酷爱的“pesce mangione”，海怪, “razza”， “pesce coltello (刀鱼)”， “pesce cavatappi (钻鱼)”, 鲽（有红斑的比目鱼）等，还有其它的一些海生鱼类。 |
