我想用陶泥来编织一个运动和幽默感相结合的幻想故事。这件作品有着奇形怪状的外表，混乱的器官和机械造型。我的一些作品与大海有着紧密的关联。基于记忆和已发现的物质，在作品里，我充分利用了一些字母。在富平为荷兰博物馆创作的作品是以草图和卡通人物为蓝本的，到中国第一天的所见所闻激发了我创作的灵感。
With the material clay I tell a story of fantasy, where movement and a sense of humour are combined. It has a baroque appearance, mixing organic and mechanical forms. Some of my works are closely related to the sea. In my wall pieces I make use of a specific alphabet which is based on personal memories and found objects. My work made here for the Dutch Museum in Fuping is based on sketches and cartoons inspired by what I saw and came across the first days of my stay in China. |
