富平第一印象

      我非常高兴来到这里，很难在这个地方居然有陶艺品装饰的酒店，花园，泳池和周围的果树。这个地方蕴藏着能量，为现在与未来的发展创造了可能。作为一名艺术家，我感到富平陶艺村的创造性和实验性给了对艺术感兴趣的人很大的空间。我知道这个雄伟的计划将在这里建造，我们只是其中的一小部分。不管怎样，我都希望我可以为建造在这里的荷兰馆献出我自己的一份力量。我期待着未来几周的变化，我也热切期盼着另外一个博物馆在这里落成。

      I'm verry happy to be here, I did not know what to expect and by looking at google-Earth I could not imaging that there would be such a good hotel with ceramic workshops, gardens, ponds and fruittrees surrounding us. There is an energy surrounding this place that creates lots off possibileties for now and in the future. As an artist I feel that here in the Fuping Pottery Village creations and experrimentations are free too excist and are stimulated by the real interessed of the people that make this possible. I feel the bigger plan that is being created on this site and I know we are just a small part off it therefore I hope I can contribute  by creating good artworks for the Dutch  Ceramic Art Museum at Fuping. I'm curious what the next weeks wil bring and I'm looking forward to the opening of yet another museum on this great site.

      通过这些作品，我想让参观者感受空间，时间和造型之间的关系。这些大且精美的陶瓷工艺品，自然光线的变化会使人感觉它在持续缓慢地移动。在作品里，我展示的是空间和景物重复交织的“中国风景”，并避免使参观者用一种固定的眼光去欣赏我的作品。重复的运用暗示着和协与秩序，同时也是对社会力量的间接赞美。

       I want to let the viewer experience spaces, form, and time. Changing natural light brings a slow continuous motion to the massive, though elegant structures. In work I am presenting here ‘Chinese Landscapes’, the repetition of forms interlaced with the void, removes the eye from the possibility of becoming imprisoned in any particular solidification and crystallization. The use of repetitions implies a shared sense of harmony and order, but it can also be seen as an indirect compliment to the strength of community.
