Arriving from the city of Beijing it was a speedy transition to the pleasant arrival at the Hotel in Flicam. A great first impression, friendly welcome from the director and his colleagues, with excellent food and thoughtful attention on the first evening.
This seems to be not only a first impression though, I’ve been amazed how special the hotel and it’s staff make me feel. A very special feeling.
The location of the hotel to the studios is excellent, very close by, which makes it easy to come and go very easily. Also every other facility at the village/Flicam is within easy walking distance with the museums and restaurant particularly convenient. Also an easy walk to the town in Fuping which is very handy.
The studio facilities are excellent, enough space, good environment and lots of people to help with any difficulties. It is particularly helpful that so much care is given to allow us to work as easily as possible, everything I have asked about I have been helped as much as could be possible. I like the fact that the permanent workers in the studios are around a lot and that I have been able to mix with them so easily. Good for everyone I think.
The translators have all been a great help and are all friendly, this makes the situation in the hotel, studios and around the village an even more satisfying experience.
