富平是一个进行创作的特殊的地方。以往在旅行中总是很难开始一项创作；新的陶泥，陌生的环境总能够激发灵感，但同时也会让人陷入尴尬。 但是在富平，我有种似曾来过的感觉，很自在也很自信。我很快就有了清晰的认识和创作思路，并在新环境中开始专注地试验和探索。

在中国有种春天般的感觉。富平是个充满活力的地方，仿佛任何独具创意的合作都可能实现，未来的新设想也可能付诸研究和实践。这是一个支持一切艺术活动但同时也充满挑战的地方。

      Fuping is an exceptional place to work.  When I travel I usually find it difficult to make a start; new clay, unfamiliar surroundings can be stimulating but also make one awkward. But in Fuping it is as if I have been here before.  I am at ease and confident, clear in my project, keen to explore my ideas but open to the new and unexpected.
